CCS Observatory 2021

In 2016, we published the Observatory of Purchasing and Services Centers in Spain. This guide aimed to help purchasing and services center managers navigate the evolution of their organizations’ original model. Over the past five years, considerable changes have occurred, including the outbreak of a pandemic in the 21st century that has paralyzed the global economy. This has demonstrated that the acronym, coined in the late 1990s, perfectly defines the environment in which companies currently compete: a volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) environment.
